The following excerpt is from People v. Parker, E063066 (Cal. App. 2016):
On appeal, the defendant claimed that the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction on any of the possession offenses because the house did not belong to him, and the other men had access to the contraband. (People v. Williams, supra, 170 Cal.App.4th at p. 624.) Rejecting the argument, this court observed, "defendant asks this court to reweigh the evidence and view it in the light most favorable to the defense, contrary to the governing standard of review." (Id. at p. 625.)
