74. A union may also consider the impact on the rest of the bargaining unit in pursuing a grievance that impacts all employees as well as the grievor. Such considerations cannot be a dominant factor, but are appropriate factors for a union behaving responsibly (see Centre Hospitalier Regina Ltee v. Labour Court 1990 CanLII 111 (SCC), [1990] 1 S.C.R. 1330).
