What is the effect of a motion to enforce a written settlement agreement?

The order granting the motion to enforce the settlement left no issue for future consideration by the court except the fact of compliance or noncompliance with the terms of the order. No further judicial action on the part of the court was contemplated, other than enforcement of the order; no further judicial action was essential to a final determination of the rights of the parties. Accordingly, we will amend the order to include an appealable judgment incorporating the terms of the written settlement agreement so as to expedite appellate review. (See Hines v.
