Indeed, the facts of this case are materially indistinguishable from People v. Camden (1976) 16 Cal.3d 808. In that case, the victim voluntarily accepted a ride from the defendant, and after initially proceeding in the direction the woman wished to go, the defendant changed course and turned on to a freeway entrance going in a different direction.
