The following excerpt is from People v. Carr, B283050 (Cal. App. 2018):

justify th[at] finding[], 'but our opinion that the circumstances also might reasonably be reconciled with a contrary finding' does not render the evidence insubstantial." (Id. at pp. 887-888.) Substantial evidence is "evidence which, when viewed in light of the entire record, is of solid probative value, maintains its credibility and inspires confidence that the ultimate fact it addresses has been justly determined." (People v. Conner (1983) 34 Cal.3d 141, 149.)
