WCAT-2010-02880, Thomas v. Eggers et al., found that a pipefitter, who was generally considered a travelling employee, was not covered for workers’ compensation purposes when he was injured while leaving a restaurant to return to his employer’s premises.

WCAT-2012-01880, Robinson v. Noyes et al., found that a salesman, who was a travelling employee, was not covered for workers’ compensation purposes while driving to meet a long-time friend for lunch.
