Is it a violation of Canadian law that a plaintiff has to travel to a different province to bring a claim at a different court?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from Thorpe Brothers Ltd. v. Saan Stores Ltd. et al., 1990 CanLII 7332 (SK QB):

It is a basic principle of our law that it is the right of every Canadian (person) to have ready access to the courts. It is not the law that persons must have to travel miles to state and present his/her/their/its case. Vide: Dickson. J.A., (later, C.J.C.), in Van Vogt v. All-Canadian Group Distributors Limited, supra, at p. 538.
