Giffin’s argument assumes that if the lease agreement does not fall within s. 2(ak) of the Act then it must fall within s. 62 of the Motor Vehicle Act. That is simply not so. The Gold Key Lease has none of the characteristics of a rental agreement as contemplated by s. 62 (see Nixon v. Robert, infra, ¶ 58).
