In an expert report on the anatomy of the brain, is the expert relying on common practice or treatises?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from West Moberly First Nations v British Columbia, 2018 BCSC 730 (CanLII):

In Sovani v. Jin, 2005 BCSC 1852, the expert sought to include in a larger report an educational DVD of the anatomy of the brain. This is akin to relying on information on common practices or treatises in an expert report and not similar to any of the reports at issue today.
