Gray on the need to preserve high standards in the legal profession to maintain confidence in the justice system, he relies on that authority’s endorsement of the “trend”, which preceding para. 110 notes Martin v. Gray recognized, of assurances that lateral transfers not only create “no actual conflict but that there be no appearance of conflict”.
