[43] The cases that have been provided are consistent in the theme with respect to interference in the democratic process and the applicability of the various principles of sentencing. The cases are clear in such circumstances the court must address and maintain public confidence in the integrity of our electoral process and interference with that process is a matter of “utmost seriousness”.
