She claims that it would shock the conscience of the court to order an equal division given the extent of the role she played in the preservation, maintenance and improvement of the property. I find that she did play a significant role in the preservation, maintenance and improvement of the property as set out in my analysis earlier in these reasons. This approach was adopted by Czutrin J. in Morrison v. Barclay-Morrison, 2008 Can LII 60330 (ONSC), [2008] O.J. No. 4663, Czutrin J. states in paras. 68, 69 and 70, as follows:
