This court has concluded that the express considerations in s. 5 are not exhaustive, and the court should consider all of the circumstances of the case in determining an appropriate quantum of support payable by a stepparent: Dumais v. Lupul (2000), 10 R.F.L. (5th) 265, 2000 BCSC 1309. It is evident from the wording of s. 5 that one of the relevant circumstances is any support that the child is receiving from other parents.
