The applicant submitted for my consideration the case of Bhajan v. Canada 34 Imm.L.R. 189 to establish the principle that if a reasonable request for an adjournment is made, it should be granted so that all parties may be heard and justice must be done. I agree. Unfortunately for the applicant, he failed to request an adjournment of the interview before the decision on his application was made.
