In my view, the agreement in this case was not entered into in the course of, or in connection with, another proceeding. While s. 25(1) does not provide an exhaustive list, it does provide guidance as to the kinds of proceedings that may be considered under s. 27(1)(f). Such proceedings involve some form of legal process, as for example a grievance, a proceeding under another act, or a lawsuit: see Thompson v. Providence Health Care, 2003 BCHRT 58, para. 29.
