Parties are required to put their best foot forward on a summary judgment motion. The court is entitled to assume that the record on a motion for summary judgment contains all the evidence the parties would present at trial (see Sweda Farms v. Egg Farmers of Ontario, 2014 ONSC 1200 at paras 26 and 27).
