The fact that a move is in the best interests of the parent seeking to relocate does not necessarily mean that it will be in the children’s best interests: Stav v. Stav, 2012 BCCA 154, at para. 90. However, in this case, particularly considering the turbulent and violent family history, there can be little doubt that emotional stability for the Mother will ultimately enure to the benefit of her children.
