What is the test for a review order?

Manitoba, Canada

The following excerpt is from Hykle v. Hykle, 2007 MBQB 243 (CanLII):

While review orders are not the norm they are useful and permissible in limited circumstances. As Binnie J.A. said in Leskun v. Leskun 2006 SCC 25; 34 R.F.L. (6th) 1 (S.C.C.) @ para. 37: Review orders, where justified by genuine and material uncertainty at the time of the original trial, permit parties to bring a motion to alter support awards without having to demonstrate a material change in circumstances.
