[111] In that regard, I adopt the reasoning of the court in Regina v. C.C. [2010] O.J. No. 4897. In that case a number of young people had been arrested with respect to a series of violent street robberies which had taken place in two separate police divisions and involved a number of investigating officers. As a result, the young persons were not actually taken before a Justice of the Peace until approximately 9 hours beyond the 24 hour limitation period set out in s. 503.
