Is a plaintiff entitled to 20% interest in two boats?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Alford v. Wendell, 1984 CanLII 732 (BC SC):

I find that the relationship of the plaintiff and defendant was such that the plaintiff must succeed on the ground that she has an interest in both boats by way of a constructive trust. However, her interest in the boats cannot be equal to that of the defendant in that their contributions were unequal: Pettkus v. Becker. It is my judgment that the plaintiff is entitled to a 20 per cent interest in both boats and the defendant to an 80 per cent interest.
