24. At some point, between February 13 and 19, the 2 day suspension of Pereira became a termination of employment. As noted in DiFalco v. Green Homes, supra where there is a close connection in time between the exercise of a health and safety right and the adverse consequence, there is a “heavy onus” to prove that there is no connection between the two events.
