Even though the claim may not readily be measurable on an earnings analysis, earnings projections may provide a starting point for the assessment of the plaintiff’s loss: O’Brien v. Cernovec, 2016 BCSC 1881 at para. 143. Both positive and negative contingencies should be taken into account in the analysis.
