It is clear from the decision of our Court of Appeal in Gregory v. Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, 2011 BCCA 144, 17 B.C.L.R. (5th) 101, that a medical opinion supporting a claim for a particular expense is unnecessary, so long as there is some evidence that the expense claimed is directly related to a disability arising from the cause of action.
