In Law Society of BC v. Batchelor, 2014 LSBC 11, the respondent admitted to two allegations of professional misconduct: first, by twice adding exhibits to a sworn affidavit; and second, by lying to the court about what he had done regarding one of the affidavits. The respondent had a significant disciplinary history. The hearing panel accepted the proposed disciplinary action made under what is now Rule 4-30 and suspended the respondent for one month.
