Wheeler. "Although the record must 'affirmatively show that the trial court weighed prejudice against probative value' [citations], the necessary showing can be inferred from the record despite the absence of an express statement by the trial court. [Citation.]" (People v. Prince (2007) 40 Cal.4th 1179, 1237.) The court's statements reflect it understood its obligation to balance probative value against prejudice and the other relevant factors and did so.
