3. In this case, defendant does not contend that an unintentional killing in the heat of passion is involuntary rather than voluntary manslaughter. In the companion case of People v. Blakeley, supra, 23 Cal.4th 82, 96 Cal. Rptr.2d 451. 999 P.2d 675, we reject the related claim that an unintentional killing in unreasonable self-defense is involuntary manslaughter.
