People v. Anderson (1990) 52 Cal.3d 453, is similar. In that case, the defendant complained that the prosecutor had improperly vouched for the credibility of the police officers who testified at trial when she asserted that "'[a] law enforcement officer is no good as a witness if his credibility is in doubt,' and in essence supported the credibility of the officers testifying in this case by noting that 'a number of them . . . are old, experienced officers.
