See, 505 F.2d 845 (9th Cir. 1974), cert. denied, 420 U.S. 992, 95 S.Ct. 1428, 43 L.Ed.2d 673 (1975), we designated several factors to be considered when reviewing a declaration of mistrial and noted that the "crucial factor" is whether the jury itself believes that it is "hopelessly deadlocked." Id. at 851.
