How much of a prosecutor's vouching implies that the prosecutor has extra record knowledge of or the capacity to monitor the witness?

MultiRegion, United States of America

The following excerpt is from U.S. v. Frederick, 78 F.3d 1370 (9th Cir. 1996):

4 We may also consider "how much the vouching implies that the prosecutor has extra-record knowledge of or the capacity to monitor the witness's truthfulness, [and] any inference that the court is monitoring the witness's veracity." United States v. Necoechea, 986 F.2d 1273, 1278 (9th Cir.1993). Neither of these factors is particularly at issue in this case.
