When the actual amount of the expense is difficult to ascertain, the expenses may be estimated; however, there must be some evidence to support the estimation of the expenses, otherwise the court cannot determine whether the requesting spouse is able to reasonably cover a totally unknown expense. See Ferguson v. Thorne, 2007 NBQB 66 at paras. 63-65, 316 N.B.R. (2d) 18.
