Does the infliction of great bodily injury in a robbery conviction apply to a conviction for assault with intent to murder?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from People v. Almeda, 197 Cal.App.3d 1200, 243 Cal.Rptr. 337 (Cal. App. 1988):

3 The court noted that because it had imposed an enhancement for the infliction of great bodily injury in connection with the attempted murder conviction and there was but one incident of such injury infliction, the enhancement should not be imposed again for the robbery conviction. (See People v. Moringlane (1982) 127 Cal.App.3d 811, 817-819, 179 Cal.Rptr. 726.)
