Does the Attorney General have grounds to impeach a defendant for committing a robbery prior to the crime?

[202 Cal.App.3d 648] The court affirmed the admission of the robbery prior but rejected the Attorney General's thesis, pointing out that defendant's interim acts of misconduct were not indicative of a character trait of either dishonesty or untruthfulness. However, the court stated, "We would find merit in the argument ... if such subsequent acts had a substantial relevancy to establish a character trait of dishonesty or untruthfulness." ( People v.
