Defendant contends that his conviction should be reversed because cumulative error denied his right to due process. Since we have " 'either rejected on the merits defendant's claims of error or have found assumed errors to be nonprejudicial[,] [w]e reach the same conclusion with respect to the cumulative effect of any [purported] errors.'
