8 It should be remembered that "[a]n attorney has an obligation to adequately supervise his employees ...." (Spindell v. State Bar (1975) 13 Cal.3d 253, 260, 118 Cal.Rptr. 480, 530 P.2d 168.) Thus, in instances where staff attorneys represented petitioner's clients, petitioner remained ultimately responsible for their decisions as to declarations of conflicts.
