We agree that defense counsel's unsuccessful evidentiary objections were not evidence and the prosecutor improperly denigrated counsel and invited the jury to draw adverse inferences from counsel's objections. "Casting uncalled for aspersions on defense counsel directs attention to largely irrelevant matters and does not constitute comment on the evidence or argument as to inferences to be drawn therefrom."
