In People v. Pipitone, supra, 86 Cal.App.3d 681, 152 Cal.Rptr. 1, this appellate district held that when the police conduct a warrantless residential search pursuant to a probation search condition for the sole purpose of obtaining evidence against a probationer's cotenant they violate the Fourth Amendment.
