Defendant complains that the trial court was indifferent to the conditions of his confinement during trial, and that these conditions impaired his ability to represent himself, in violation of the Sixth Amendment of the United States Constitution, article I, section 15 of the California Constitution and Faretta, supra, 422 U.S. 806, 95 S.Ct. 2525.
