In Dobrowolski v. Dobrowolski, 2019 MBQB 126 (“Dobrowolski”), a father and son were alleged to have entered into a business relationship which involved purchase of a number of properties. No agreement in writing was prepared between them. Following the father's passing, his estate claimed a one-half interest in these properties which was contested by the son.
