I am of the opinion that given the background of this case, the trial judge should have retained supervision over the matter to see to the implementation of the terms of his order dated November 6, 1996. Section 16(6) of the Divorce Act would provide him with sufficient jurisdiction to make such an order. See Palmer v. MacNeill, [1994] 1 P.E.I.R. G489 (P.E.I.S.C.T.D.).
