Discrimination can be caused by multiple intersecting grounds. The analysis of a primary ground of discrimination such as race must not ignore other grounds in the complaint, such as disability and the possibility that compound discrimination may have occurred as a result of the intersection of these grounds. (see Turner v. Canada (Attorney General), 2012 FCA 159 at paras 48-49.)
