In what decisions have been found contributorily negligent for a pedestrian struck in a crosswalk?

In addition to Loewen v. Bernardi, supra, there are, of course, other decisions in which a pedestrian struck in a crosswalk has been found contributorily negligent. Without stopping to review individually authorities cited by counsel for the defendants, it may be noted that one feature of some of those cases was poor visibility, due to bad weather conditions or darkness. In others, there was some act of overt negligence on the part of the pedestrian, such as scurrying across the street or proceeding in an erratic manner or gesturing so as to mislead a motorist into concluding that the latter might proceed safely through the crosswalk.
