In Pugsley v. Wong, 1999 ABQB 921, [1999] A.J. No. 1415, aff’d 2001 ABCA 249, [2001] A.J. No. 1391, Johnstone J. reduced the general damages awarded to the plaintiff for her whiplash and knee injury by twenty-five percent in view of the plaintiff’s failure to follow the recommended treatment prescribed for her.
