The following excerpt is from Dorchak v. Krupka, 1997 ABCA 89 (CanLII):

I reiterate that such individual details are not necessary to prove whether the existence of a given privileged document is revealed by the affidavit of documents. A bundle of numbered papers suffices. Indeed, because consecutive document numbers are unambiguous, they are slightly better for that purpose than word descriptions of individual documents: see Solid Waste v. Philip, supra.
