In Czaplinska v. Caravaggio, supra the plaintiff was a Polish immigrant to Canada with little income earning capacity or language skills. During the relationship with the defendant the plaintiff was provided with a very comfortable lifestyle, numerous exotic vacations and room and board in reasonably luxurious house in southwest Calgary. Nevertheless, her contributions to the housekeeping and maintenance of the home constituted a deprivation.
