Is it unconscionable for the wife to equalize the net family property with the husband when the husband has all but abdicated his role in the relationship?

Prince Edward Island, Canada

The following excerpt is from Koughan v. Dow, 2015 PECA 2 (CanLII):

In Court v. Cudmore, 2000 PESCTD 35, at para.35, DesRoches J. found it would be unconscionable to equalize the net family property because the father had all but abdicated his family role and responsibilities and his contribution to child care and household management was negligible during the marriage.
