Boisvert, 2012 BCSC 304 at para. 107 [Prempeh], an award for cost of future case must be based on medical evidence as to what is reasonably necessary to preserve and promote the plaintiff’s mental and physical health. In assessing cost of future care, the court should consider whether the plaintiff would likely use the items or services in the future.
