Does a change in the way an employee is to her core duties constitute a constructive dismissal?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Baraty v Wellons Canada Corp., 2019 BCSC 33 (CanLII):

A change in the manner in which an employee is to carry out his or her core duties also does not constitute a constructive dismissal. In Trueman v. Abbotsford (City), 2006 BCSC 1820, the employee was a budget and financial systems manager. The employer implemented a new budgetary process and merging of divisions, which resulted in a change to the reporting structure.
