In addition to basic child support, s. 7 of the Guidelines gives the court the discretion to order payment of an amount over and above the regular table amount. In Clarke v. Clarke, 2014 BCSC 824, Baird J. provides a very useful discussion of special or extraordinary expenses under s. 7, beginning at para. 48:
