Notably, when a child does not continuously pursue post-secondary education but lives at home and works part-time, a payor parent may be relieved from a portion of the child support payment for that period. But the child may regain “child of the marriage” status if his or her circumstances change: Hartshorne v. Hartshorne, 2010 BCCA 327 at para. 77.
