4 One of the decisions referred to was our own in United States v. Ploof, 464 F.2d 116, 119-20 (2d Cir.), cert. denied sub nom. Godin v. United States, 409 U.S. 952, 93 S.Ct. 298, 34 L.Ed.2d 224 (1972), which stated in dictum that a defendant can be convicted both of transporting a stolen motor vehicle under 18 U.S.C. 2312 and of receiving and concealing it under 18 U.S.C. 2313.
